My friends and I had an exceptional stay at the resort. The atmosphere felt remarkably close to home, creating a cozy and welcoming vibe. The owner's warmth and hospitality added a personal touch to our experience, making it truly memorable. The overall quality of our stay was great, making it a fantastic retreat for a group getaway.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was great to have washing facilities too. The walk to the beach is only 10-15 minutes away and it is a very lovely beach. So relaxing. We enjoyed a meal at Nanglo’s and Alex’s Place on the beach was lovely but we wouldn’t particularly recommend Camran’s. The local bus to Betalbutin is worth doing, had a lovely breakfast in a cafe there. Jody and her son were helpful in suggesting options for travel to Gokarna.

Really loved our 6 days here. Nice clean rooms, cleaned every day. Close to an excellent restaurant, The Camron. Hoping to come back here for a long term stay. A short scooter ride to some fantastic beaches.

It was a very pleasing and relaxing stay at John’s highland. Close to beautiful Betalbatim beach. Uncle, aunty and their son are very good host. I believe there can’t be better place than this to spend your vacations in south Goa. Rooms are big and very clean. The owner pays special attention while the servants are doing the cleaning stuff. Which I really appreciate. Beautiful property they have.

We had a lovely stay at this guest house. Judy was attentive and attended to all our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a fridge in our room and ironing and cooking facilities available. The Majorda beach is close by and very clean. The taxi service provided by Joe and Joseph was the best!
They are a caring family run business which made our stay very pleasant. We will for sure be visiting again and highly recommend this guest house.

It was my first time stay at johns highland and it was the best experience i could ever have.They have taken care of the finest detail.they have kitchen, laundry and taxi services. It is there love and passion to do this work which make the stay more beautiful, I would recommend everyone to stay at the place for joyful journey

I had gone on a vacation with a friend and this was my first time in Goa. Choosing a stay at South Goa was a tricky decision but we ended up choosing John's Highland Comfort.
That was a great call on our part!
Firstly, the place is next best to staying at home. Affordable price, close to good beaches, has 2 cafes nearby and the hosts are very welcoming.
1. Rooms were clean and spacious. Important to note, they were regularly cleaned.
2. Check-in and Check-out was a smooth process.
3. AC and fridge is available.
4. The decor/interior was good and mostly felt like staying at home.
5. They also help with Taxi/Cab service in your transit to Airport/Station.
Overall, our experience of South Goa was made memorable, where staying at John's Highland was a perfect choice.

John and Judy are amazing hosts. Gems!! The place is spectacular and the vibes are on point. It's located in a very peaceful and serene location and there was no disturbance whatsoever. Definitely a must visit place to stay in South Goa! For sure we're gonna visit the next time we're in town. 

Great place to stay with family in South Goa, at a good price.
We (2 families with kids) stayed at John's guest house for 3 nights in April 2024.
The family-run property is located in a calm and quiet location and has some good restaurants near by.
We really enjoyed the stay.

My wife and I had a great two weeks staying at Johns Comfort, everything you need is within easy walking distance. Ask Judy for anything and it’s not a problem. Rooms are cleaned every day. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean with a constant hot water supply. Would recommend to friends and family and we will certainly be returning in the near future.

Such a great place for a very reasonable price. The cost for room service is also very low.
The room was big, and they clean it up every day.
The guest house is very close to shops, restaurants and bars.

Place to feel like home. The owners (Jonh and Judy) are the nisest people we met in South Goa. The room looked very tidy when we arrived + it had a clean service every day. Our room was on the second floor with a nice private terrace. In addition to the guest house, Jonh has a taxi service and can get you to any part of Goa (also pick you up from/bring to the airport) at a reasonable price. Ask for a tourist trip with Jonh and you will definitely enjoy it! If you are looking for a hospitable, clean, cheap and quiet place next to Majorda beach I'd recommend you this hotel. Good for family stay!

We stayed for 4 days in April 2024. They checked us in a little bit early and accommodated us. Coming to the stay, for the price we paid, the stay was good. They have a common kitchen and dining area if you want to cook. If you are looking for a budget stay, this is the place you are looking for.

It was a memorable experience we had during our stay at John's Highland. Rooms were spacious, clean, and fully functional. I loved the location as it was in close proximity to some good restaurants and a km away from Majorda Beach. Definitely will recommend if you are visiting South Goa.
